DOTHAN, Alabama – One Dothan nursing home is showing the love for its residents and their families by celebrating Valentine’s Day in style. Tuesday, Westside Terrace Healthcare began three nights of fine dining and music this week for its community. Since 2007, Westside has been welcoming the Valentine’s Day holiday with steak and shrimp dinners and live music.

“This is a great opportunity for families and residents to spend time together enjoying a nice and fun evening,” said Kristie Hughes, Westside administrator. “It’s wonderful to see the energy it brings to the whole facility.”

This year, the attendees will enjoy live blues performances from Leon Atkins.

“It’s like having a night out on the town in the comfort of their own home,” Hughes said.
