Hurricane Michael hit the Gulf Coast region in October leaving a path of destruction in its wake. Michael was the third-most powerful hurricane to hit the U.S. mainland in recorded history and the strongest ever recorded in the Florida panhandle. This devastating storm badly impacted many of our employees here at Westside Terrace Healthcare.
In an effort to help the people who dedicate themselves to serving our residents at Westside, the Turenne Family of Companies united to reach out to our employees in need with food and financial donations. More than $3,400 was raised to help Westside Terrace employees. Additionally, hundreds of dollars in groceries and non-perishable food items were donated.
“Westside is grateful to everyone that gave of their time and resources to help fellow employees in their time of need,” said Kristie Hughes, administrator.
